Privacy policy
Last updated 27 September 2026
In short
- No account, and no NeuralPacing server behind the app. Your sessions and settings stay on your phone.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects device data to serve them. Full access removes ads.
- Subscriptions are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- The website collects an email address only if you join the waitlist.
Who we are
NeuralPacing is published by Heylogic Pte Ltd, Singapore (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the NeuralPacing Android app and the website at neuralpacing.com. Questions or requests: hello@heylogic.sg.
The app
Stored only on your device
The app keeps a few things in its own storage on your phone, so it works offline:
- your sound preferences (voice, ambient soundscape and level, chimes);
- that you have read the safety notes;
- whether you have full access: a cached subscription status, or a one-way hash of a redeemed friends-and-family code.
None of this is sent to us. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes it. To check for headphones, the app reads which audio output is active; that check happens on the device and nothing is stored or sent.
What the app does not collect
No name, email address, account, location, contacts, microphone audio, health or biometric data, and no usage analytics. We do not run a server that the app talks to.
Ads in the free version (Google AdMob)
The free version shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, never during a session. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Where permitted, and with your consent where required, ads may be personalised.
- In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and other places where the law requires it, the app asks for consent through Google’s consent form before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Full access › Ad privacy choices.
- On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s Settings under Privacy › Ads.
- With full access, the app shows no ads and makes no ad requests.
Google’s use of this data is governed by its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Subscriptions (Google Play)
Purchases are processed by Google Play under Google’s privacy policy. The app receives only a confirmation that your Google account holds an active NeuralPacing subscription, which it checks on the device to unlock full access. We do not receive your name, email address or payment details. You can cancel or manage a subscription in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
Friends-and-family codes
Codes are checked on the device against a list built into the app. Nothing is sent to us.
The website
- Waitlist. If you join, we store your email address, the time you signed up, and your browser’s user-agent string, with our hosting provider Cloudflare. We use it only to tell you about NeuralPacing, and will delete it on request.
- Hosting. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the site.
- Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers when you visit.
- The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies.
Children
NeuralPacing is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Singapore’s PDPA or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its use. In practice the only personal data we hold is a waitlist email address. Email hello@heylogic.sg and we will respond within 30 days. For data collected by Google (ads, purchases), use Google’s tools, or contact Google directly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
